The holiday season is here and who wants to snag a deal at one of the largest and most unusual flea markets in SoCal? The market is always colorful and crowded with unique merchandise, antiques and the usual knock-offs. We're here to shoot, of course, so bring your camera! This is an outdoor event so you really won't need a fast lens. I am scheduling this early to make the most of the early morning light. We'll practice shooting people, capturing the little details and maybe even get your Christmas shopping done early! Who knows, you may even find and haggle yourself a real bargain!
We'll meet at 8 am and be out before the crowds overwhelm us. Wear comfortable shoes, dress for warmth and comfort, bring cash for all the shopping, food and beverages. If you are still with us at 11 am, we can warm up somewhere in Pasadena for lunch or just chow down on flea market fare. Tickets at 8 am are $10 for express admission, if you come after 9 am it is $8 for general admission. There is plenty of free parking in the area.

PS. If anyone is interested, we can check out the Gamble House nearby in the early afternoon. That's $10 for a one hour docent guided tour of one of the most prominent Craftsman homes in Pasadena and the country.
