Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival - NO HOST

We will be attending the balloon glow event held on Saturday evening, weather permitting. With that in mind, please pack a sweater as it can get a little nippy once the sun goes down. Don't forget to bring your camera and a tripod would be ideal for the glow event, along with a fast lens and remote. Speedlights might also be in order. Just don't lose your stuff in the festival either! We are not liable if you lose your equipment there. There are a lot of people attending and most are inebriated.

Please remember that admission on Saturdays is $25 and parking is an additional $5. I highly recommend carpooling as Temecula is over 90 miles away and traffic can be like a very bad hangover the next day. Just saying. Speaking of which, wine tasting starts at $15 and includes a souvenir wine glass. So I will definitely be looking for a designated driver with reliable transportation! Just kidding! I think...

I will set the final meeting point in the Pasadena or Glendale area a few days before the event itself. I will also be opening the RSVPs up about a month before to give everyone enough time to plan ahead for this event.

Here is more information on this colorful and entertaining event:

Update: I have been checking my schedule and it appears I will not be able to make it for this year's festivities. If anyone has any plans of attending, feel free to coordinate on carpooling as this is over 90 mins. away from LA. Be safe and have fun!

ive also been to this event many times. the balloons are gorgeous. a tripod is definitely in order unless you can hand hold at around 15 sec. my only advise is park as CLOSE to the exit as possible. a few extra minutes walking into the entrance will save you an hour being trapped in the maze trying to get out of the parkinglot
