The Big Photo Show...NO HOST

The Big Photo Show is a multi-sensory experience where photo enthusiasts, like you, can see, touch, and explore the latest products rather than simply reading about them. Everything is designed to deepen and enhance your relationship with the entire photography experience - from image capture to image output.

Bring your camera and....

  • try new products
  • ask professionals questions
  • learn tips and tricks
  • improve your skills
  • meet other photo enthusiasts
  • visit booths with the latest innovations
  • explore options for output and display of images
  • feed your passion for the hobby!

If you love photography, you'll want to be here!

Attendees will get the chance to try new products, discover tips and tricks from professional photographers, improve their skills, experience the latest photo and video innovations, learn about new imaging services, find communities of like-minded enthusiasts, and even bring their own images to be framed or restored onsite.
“The Big Photo Show is all about passionately promoting the growth of photography, videography and photo printing,” said Allen Showalter, president of PMA. “I could not be more excited about this event, and the opportunities it will bring to exhibitors, attendees and our membership.”

Yes, I was there today and ran into Frank Vidrio (our event host). It was a much smaller show than I expected. The major camera and photography vendors were not there, except maybe Sony who did have a booth. I found it to be more oriented to the newbie/consumer market, at least overall. However, if you were looking for show specials on camera gear, it was a place to be. For example, Samy's and Paul's Photo (Torrance) were selling most everything at their booths. One vendor was selling a solar-powered battery charger and doing quite a business. The presentations were well-attended and the booths with models that you could shoot were packed with photographers.
