Somebody just asked me to shoot some family photos on Saturday at a beach, but I have no idea which beaches are more photographer friendly and which aren't. Does anybody have any info to share about that? Thanks!

if you talking about family photos, you should not have problem shooting it anywhere, as long as all you have is your camera and sometime I am even able to get away with reflector, but if you want to set up the lights on the stands, then no. I would suggest Venice, there is a nice pier there at the end of Washington, you could shoot underneath and there some small rocks formations right next to it, that you can sit your family on, just a thought.
