Just as clarification, "Goddess" isn't in reference to spiritual, holistic or new age beliefs. Just a fun group of women who like to drink some wine, have a good time, discuss interesting topics, laugh and develop friendships.

Meet other women in their 30's and 40's in our community who celebrate being smart, beautiful, fun, funny, adventurous, and independent. We are past the bar/club scene of our 20's but still enjoy going out on occasion, happy hours, girl trips, dining out or working out! We gravitate towards places with wine lists and not shot lists. Single or married, liberal or conservative, working or stay-at-home, kids or no kids... doesn't matter. What matters is that you're looking for positive, no-drama female friendships, occasional intellectual discussions, occasional not-so-intellectual discussions, sharing bottles of wine and lots of laughs.

The primary purpose of this group is to foster quality female friendships. Therefore, regardless of how much we love them, unless otherwise stated the men in our lives aren't invited. Please respect this rule as there will be all-inclusive events during which significant others, the kids, or other friends are more than welcome.

The regular meet-ups for this group will primarily be in the DC Metro area.

A $1/person meetup fee will be collected at each event to help defray the costs associated with running the group, i.e. Meetup fees, PayPal fees, misc expenses.
