I was a Goth before there was a Goth subculture that I knew of. I'm sort of a proto-goth. If you want a number, we'll say over 20 years.
Very well. As well as anyone can who grew up here.
Reading. Afternoon tea. Museums. Black and white films. Crochet. Cooking.
Because I own more dark clothing than most people. Because i make ginger bat cookies for Christmas. Because my mother once actually asked me if I was a vampire, when I was an adult. Because I wrote bad poetry as a teen and wore dark clothing all the time. Because I think corsets and collars are evening wear. Because beating people is fun, and getting tied up and beaten is even better. Because ordinary people freak me out.
I'm in a long-distance relationship with a corp-punk. He's ok with my having sex with other people though. However, it doesn't happen very often. Both of us look 'normal.' We think that's hilarious.
Corpgoth, not into clubbing (I find it too noisy); more into gothic folk music and spooky early rock and roll than most goth. I also like some industrial, afternoon tea, and having an excuse to dress up.
