We will be meeting to visit with each other and our dogs...This is a great place for our aussies to meet and hang out and explore come check it out :) A reminder of parking is really tight with only 15 parking spaces if you can get here early the better.  I said 10:30 as I live in Taylor so it will take a hr for me to get to Redbud :) Hope you can make it too!!

Red Bud Isle is a pretty unique dog park. It adds an element of adventure/exploration that other dog parks don't have. At regular dog parks, since everything is out in the open, it only takes my two Aussies maybe 10 minutes to explore the park before they've felt like they've seen everything. Then the rest of their exercise time depends on how hot it is and how much they feel like playing with the other dogs. Red Bud Isle is completely different. It is wild, so my dogs can easily explore for 60 minutes or more! They love going into the bushes to explore, then take a quick splash in the lake (or herd the other dogs already playing in the lake), and then walk down the shady trail to next adventure. The only down side is the lack of parking. I had to wait 10-15 minutes just to park my car. I came from Bastrop, so I wasn't going to turn back. Even if I was more local though, it would've totally been worth it, especially for them to play with other Aussies.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
