The Great Green March is a non-profit with the mission of creating a cultural shift in how we value our resources as a nation. We are 600 people walking, cycling, and driving alt-fuel vehicles, across the country for 365 days from PDX to D.C.

We will live in a mobile Green City that moves 15-20 miles per day while crossing the country, highlighting what is already sustainable and posing challenges to individuals, organizations, corporations, and all levels of government.

Green City will emulate an actual city. Complete with it's own mayor and city council, a k-12 school, post office, out-reach programs, educational resources, entertainment, summer camps, cineplex, and marketplace.

Our goal is to reach 100 million people globally and create measurable change. We will be addressing the following topics such as: climate change, peak oil, green economics, sustainable resource management, social welfare, green technology, and integrated design.

We would like to have the Meet Up community involved in the process and welcome you to our public salons held every last Tuesday of the month at 7pm. Please check our website for the address as it it likely to change from month to month.
