This is a public game at Dream Wizards in Rockville, MD. Players can create their own characters using the Core Rule book, or use one of the pre-gens founds on the Fantasy Flight Games website.
The games will be run in an episodic manner with each mission being focused on a single task with a short duration to complete. There will be very little meta-plot beyond what the players generate through their in-game actions.
The party is a special-ops team loosely connected to the Hutt Cartel. The team engages in special missions for the benefit of the Cartel, especially tasks the Hutts don’t want tied directly to them. If captured by the empire or enemy agents, the Cartel will not provide assistance or rescue. Every PC has at least 5 Obligation to the Hutt Cartel. The type of Obligation is up to the player to decide.
Every player earns 10 XP and 1,000 credits per session with possible bonus XP and credits for exceptional success or engaging role play.
The primary purpose of the sessions is to introduce players to the FFG Star Wars RPG system, or to the role playing hobby. No experience with the system is required. As a public game, there could be some last minute walk-ups at the store.
