On Sunday, December 1st, I want to play tremulus, a storytelling game of Lovecraftian horror like you've never seen before. tremulus is based on the same system that powers Apocalypse World and Dungeon World, so for those of you familiar with those games, you'll have some, tiny, idea of what to expect...

After you spend about five minutes making your character, you will fill out a short questionaire about the town of Ebon Eaves. Your answers create the mysteries of the town. The story, the all grows organically from your characters, your questions, and the web of connections you spin with your fellow players.

There are no fancy dice or colorful cards, and no massive tomes of rules required to play tremulus. All you need to bring is a mind open to terror! Though a few snacks and drinks wouldn't hurt, either...

The location, as always, is the Auburn Village Community Room. It is two miles from Crystal City or Braddock Road Metros, and transportation can be provided, if necessary.

Rescheduling to next weekend due to medical issues (wife is sick with the flu, taking her to the hospital right now.) I'll re-post this meetup for next weekend.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
