Talk With Your Baby . . . Before Your Baby Learns to Talk!
Cost: $12 per family/per class; sign up for all 6 classes for a discounted price of $55
(since we need a class size minimum, we need to have you pay ahead of time. Please either send in a check to MusicMakers or call us with a credit card).
Refunds will be given if you cancel at least by Friday at noon, if we cancel this event, or if we postpone this event. Sorry we can't be more liberal than that by allowing you to not show and not pay, but this is a "class" type meetup with a lot of planning and materials/handouts, so it is not fair to the instructor otherwise.
Have you ever wondered what your baby is thinking? Or why your baby is crying? The Baby Signs® Program teaches babies to use simple, easy-to-do gestures for communicating with their parents and caregivers. These gestures or “signs” represent an item or concept, like “cat,” “eat,” or “all gone.”
Using signs gives babies a way to "talk" with their parents, before they can talk. Babies can communicate about the world around them, long before they have mastered their verbal speaking skills!
Babies and toddlers often use signs as a natural part of the communication process. Many babies know how to wave "bye-bye" or use a headshake to mean "no." The Baby Signs® Program can help your baby use lots of other gestures to communicate just as easily as these more common "signs."
Here is the theme for each class:
March 6: Mealtime
March 13: Bedtime
March 20: Bath Time
March 27: Getting Dressed
April 10: Pets
April 17: At the Park
Each class you will learn about 6 to 7 signs, so you will learn about 37 signs if you take all 6 classes!!!
Refunds offered if:
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.

Yes, there IS a Refund--Bryn will refund if you cancel by the Friday at noon before the class; if we postpone this meetup; if we cancel this meetup. There is no intention of being unfair, but please understand that this type of class is labor intensive and requires planning according to the ages of participants, number of participants, and requires pre-planning for handouts, etc. If we want to attract cool classes like this at a discount rate, we have to be fair to the teacher.
