Please tell us a little about yourself as a writer. What is your background and why do you write? What do you write about?

I am passionate about writing and criticism. I consider my work letters to unknown audiences. I deal with culture critique and stories that deal with real emotions and real people

What is your feeling about have your work published? Are you willing to take criticism about your work as well as support? Are you willing to invest in your work as a self-published writer?

Of course

Have you already been published or self-published? Or, have you already published via the traditional route with a literary agent and a regular press?

I blog at WWW.Occupycultureblog.com with a friend weekly, have six book published traditionally and a book pending with an agent

What draws you to coming to your first GNYIPA meeting? What do you expect to gain from attending your first meeting?

I want to find out more about how self-publishing works, how to do it technically and other issues now emerging where one takes control of one's own work.

What can you offer GNYIPA—your time to be on an event committee, your experience working with a group of writers and publishers, or your own enthusiasm and commitment to work with us?
