As an African American single parent of a five year old only child female, the need to form positive relationships and social skills is a must. Since we are not originally from the area, it is difficult to establish good friendships. So I am forming this group for all single parent moms who have little girls between the ages of 5-8. The purpose of the group is to allow children to come together and have play dates, build on positive social skills, and hopefully form lasting bonds. For the moms, it can be a time for a little break, form new friendships, and build a support network. All single parents are welcome.
