  • May 9, 2013 · 7:00 PM

I was really looking forward to tonight. I really need to learn ways to stay consistent. Hopefully I can make the next meeting in june.

Someone said to me once, "what happened 5 minutes ago no longer matters, and what will happen 5 minutes from now doesn't matter yet." That keeps me in the present. The other thing I do is to be really present when I am having a really good time (it can be as simple as watching a thunderstorm, which I love to do), meditate on those images and bring them back to your mind when you are feeling blue.

Sorry I could not make it Michael. I had planned to, but I misjudged the time I would need at an appointment prior to the meeting. See you next time.

One of the best ways to stay positive is to focus on all the things we have to be grateful for. There are so many that we could probably write for a day in a gratitude journal and still not get them all written in. The more we are grateful and thankful for things the more thankful thing will come into our lives. BE HAPPY!

I totally agree. I try to do my 'High Five' practice, where I write down five things from yesterday I'm happy about. Always helps me to get my positive focus back.
