-Update /[masked]- PLEASE READ!
I have now booked a table at Restaurant "Krameramtsstuben"! The nearest tube station seems to be "Rödingsmarkt" or S-Bahn "Stadthausbrücke". We will have a 3-course set menu. Starter: Pumpkinsoup with roasted pumpkin seeds * Main Course: roasted duck on cabbage with orange sauce and Macaire potatoes * Dessert: Homemade dumplings with stewed peach. The price per person is EUR 36,50. If you are still interested in joining, please make sure that you pay in advance no later than 16th November!
Please make sure to contact me at [masked] to confirm your booking and for me to give you my bank details so that you can pay.
Hope to see you then!
Take care, Anne
the responses have been good and I have done a little more research.
So far, I found two restaurants with "winterly menues" a) "Freudenhaus" (www.stpauli-freudenhaus.de) in St Pauli and b) "Alte Krameramtsstuben" (www.krameramtsstuben.de) near the Michel. Unfortunately I was wrong about the menueprice! At "Freudenhaus" the menue would cost EUR 32,50 and at "Alte Krameramtsstuben" EUR 36,50. Please have a look at their websites where you can also check out the menues! Obviously I would ask for a vegetarian choice if this really comes together.
If, despite the price, you are still interested then great, if not please change your answer accordingly.
More to come soon.
The shops have already put out gingerbread and almond bisquits, so I guess x-mas isn't far off... I had the idea to do a special dinner during December. Something like a christmas dinner as a pre-ordered 3 course meal (where we all have the same dish!) The price would be about 20 - 25 EUR per person (my guess!!). I would check restaurants (eg. Zippelhaus or Rathauskeller) to find out if they do something like this.
I know December is a busy month with all the x-mas parties going on, so I'd like to know in advance if anybody would be interested at all! Also, if this comes off, I will ask people to pay in advance.
So, please let me know what you think!
Thanks & best regards
