A few of you have asked if you can help cover the cost of running this meet up group. I pay $72 every 6 months for the pleasure of confusing all of our new members and building the awesome friendships we have found here. If each member contributed $2 two bucks that would about cover the cost. Not ever member is going to do that because not every member is an active participant or willing to contribute.
So if you are incline to help out with the cost please feel free to make a payment to my PayPal account in any amount of $2 or more (add a guest for each $2.00 increment if PayPal doesn't let you change the amount, i.e. rsvp you plus 2 guests to contribute $6). If by some miracle of the season we exceed the $144 it costs, the excess will be donated to Covenant to Care for Children to help with the purchase of winter coats for my 14,000 kids.
Thanks for considering a contribution. I hope that Fabulous Foodies has in some small way been a positive bit of your year(s) and that I will be sharing a yummy time with you soon.

Hi Caryl, I will personally give you money because I seemed to have lost my paypal security code card somewhere in my house. Thanks for being a great organizer!

I'm confused about the Thanksgiving date? Many organizers charge $10 for the year. Would you consider this upfront instead of every event?

Any amount over $144 raised through this event will go to Covenant to Care for Children specifically to fill winter clothing needs. I would not feel comfortable pocketing your money myself. Meet up does allow for random contributions as far as I can tell and since I didn't want to charge for membership, doing this virtual event was the only way I could think of to allow for a voluntary contribution.
