Might you please tell us a bit about your interest in the Haymarket Society?

I've just been getting a lot more interested in the organization of social power recently. Partly it's the relentless machinery of national government over the past decade, partly that I've recently gotten into indigent criminal defense, which gives you a very good sense of the utter cynicism of elected officials as they act under the aegis of the most difficult-to-misinterpret laws and rules. If one takes the position that representative self-government is an oxymoron, however, the result is rather paralyzing. I hope I get a chance to meet up with all of you and expand my views.
