Take A Hike to Montgomery Pinetum/Pomerance Property

Once part of the estate of writer Barbara Tuchman, this scenic park, a haven for hikers and dog walkers, is now part of the town's Montgomery Pinetum. There are arched stone bridges, old walls, a beehive shaped "hobbit house," a tranquil pond, babbling brooks and waterfalls.
Directions : Exit 5 on I95. Take a left off the ramp unto US 1 (E Putnam Avenue). Go exactly one mile. Turn right onto Orchard Street at the Gulf Station. Go three blocks.

Turn right onto Bible Street. Go 7/10 ths of a mile. Montgomery Pinetum (TheGardenEducation Center) is on the left.
