Take A Hike to Housatonic Rail- Trail, Trumble, CT (C)

The Housatonic Rail-Trail in Trumble, a.k.a., the Pequonnock Valley Greenway, offers a shady respite from suburban Trumbull, this fairly flat trail overlooks the winding Pequonnock River for much of its 3.4 miles. Rapids and distinctive rock outcrops add interest. Directions: Take route 25 to Exit 9. turn left on Daniel's Farm Rd.--at ;light take right onto SR 127--followed by an immediate right onto Tait Rd (not Tait's Mill) and then park Hike Rating: C Leader: Marilyn Gallucci[masked]
