Baically all you need is a buffered rag mat for B&W prints, and a non
buffered rag mat for colour C41 chromogenic prints,, a basic black frame,
setting pins and frame wire . Aaron Bros is good for frames, expensive for
framing. As is Michaels.
You might try "Gonsalez Framing" on Laurel Canyon in North Hollywood, or
United Framing in Pasadena, You can also buy frames at "Art City", or you
can go online to " Light Impressions". There are a lot of good frame shops
and you can usually work a deal . Also you can buy your frames , mats etc on
resale since you arent the end user.
