Allons voir une piece de theatre en Francais!  Let's go see a play in French (with English surtitles)!  This is the annual theater production by Et Voila Theatre, Houston's ONLY French-language theater company!

The play is in French with English "surtitles", so even if your French is a little rusty, you can follow the plot.

Time: meet at 7:45PM for 8PM show (rendez-vous at 19h45 pour le commencement de la piece a 20h). We will wait in the lobby until 7:50PM and then go get our seats. Seating is general admission, first come, first served.

How to find us:

Look for Amanda wearing a light pink cap with a meetup pin on it and holding a Houston French Meetup sign. My cellphone # is[masked]-9160. Cap and phone will be on before, during intermission, and after the play.

About the play:

"Trap for a Lonely Man" (Piege pour un homme seul)

Thriller written by Robert Thomas (1960)

A young bride, Elisabeth runs away after an argument with her new husband Daniel Corban.

After 10 days of silence, Daniel worries and asks the police to help me to find clues on the whereabouts on his vanished wife.

Meanwhile, Maximin, “  the priest of the parish ” has found Elisabeth and hopes to guide her back into the conjugal nest , as a big surprise to everyone, Daniel swears that this so called Elisabeth is not really Elisabeth!

So who to believe? Who is telling the truth?
Has Daniel become crazy or amnesic?

From witnesses to surprises , this investigation  will keep the spectator on the edge of his seat until the very end.
