Join me (Amanda) for the classic French film "The Wild Child/L'enfant sauvage" that is part of the Francois Truffaut Film Festival. After the movie, we will go to Cafe Express for dinner, drinks and post-film conversation.
ENGLISH SPEAKING IS PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT. Two meetup groups will be attending: Houston Film & Theater Snobs Meetup and Houston French Language & Culture Meetup.

4:45-4:50PM: Meet in lower lobby in front of Brown Auditorium
4:50-5PM: Take our seats. (Amanda will leave cap & phone on until movie starts)
5PM-6:15PM: Movie "L'enfant sauvage"/"The Wild Child"
6:15PM-6:20PM: Meet back in the lobby for hellos/goodbyes and short discussion.
6:20PM - We walk over to Cafe Express through the tunnel to the other building, have dinner/coffee/tea/wine and discuss the film and any other topics you want. French and English can both be spoken..
About the Film:
THE WILD CHILD/L'ENFANT SAUVAGE
A brilliant depiction of the real-life diaries of a 19th-century physician (played by Truffaut) who attempts to educate and civilize a young boy found living in the wilderness without comprehension of human life.
