Lets check out Lightroom 5.0

We are going to cover some of the new features on Lightroom 5.0.  However we are also going to be covering some basic overall features of Lightroom that have been around since 3.0.  So no matter what version you have you, I hope you stop by and pick up a few new tricks

If there is anything that you want covered shoot me an email or post it in the comments and I will try to make time to cover it.

I really enjoyed the new features. It definitely convinced me into upgrading. The full screen option for the light box view was the kicker. The other features are great and I know that I can incorporate these features into my digital workflow. Thank you Dan for a great meetup.

Beneficial to me without wasting a lot of time trying to find the location. I hate driving in rush hour from northwest Houston just to get to a class. This LightRoom was so convenient and I leaned a lot of things just by watching. I just bought LR about 6 months ago and fumbling through something you've never used before was frustrating. I really enjoyed learning LR this way. Just one question...I know you recorded it but, could you repost or direct me to the part that you fixed the image that LR had a question mark on the image because it no longer had the link to the photo because someone modified the image?

I am a photography enthusiast, currently using Adobe Elements 10. I would look forward to know more about Lightroom to decide whether I need to go for it or can live with Elements. I will join the webinar.

Narayanan, bot products are very different. The way I think of Lightroom with Photoshop in my workflow is as follows: for overall processing of the image, I do that in Lightroom. Any detail work (removing power lines, lamp posts, etc) is done in photoshop. It is better than the Adobe Camera Raw included in PSE 10.
