so i'm assuming this is not the event to join if you're a beginner?!

    July 17, 2013

    • Laura

Hey Miguel - beginners are always welcome. We would not let you belay others, but we would belay you out there. You would need your own equipment though, so if you don't have that, then you might want to wait until the next gym event and try it out there!

Do I want to climb? Yes. Do I want to pass my exam on Monday? Yes. I'm not sure I can do both...

Some of us are thinking of going up on Friday 19th too, to have a look around and explore some of the other areas such as Hamilton Pool, maybe a little more climbing, or even going into Austin on friday night if we're feeling dangerous... If that sounds good to anyone else, let us know so we can adjust plans accordingly.

Sounds good. I will be in Austin Friday for sure, possibly Thursday, seeing the sites and heading to 6th street, etc.

I can meet up in Austin at night on the 19th - I will probably not camp again...haha (shocking!)

I'm bringing my god daughter who'll be in from out of the country. Does anyone have extra shoes or harness we could borrow?

    June 30, 2013

    • Laura

Ask Kristin? She can't make it that weekend and she has a pretty small harness...shoes likely won't work though :)
