Climbing at Texas Rock Gym and Food/Drinks After

Let's climb at Texas Rock Gym for an hour or two and then go get food/drinks at Casa De Leon.

If you have never been to TRG, you will need to do a belay test before you will be able to climb.

A day pass at TRG is $15 without gear. You can rent a harness ($4) and shoes ($6) if you need them. TRG has monthly passes that are more affordable if you are going to climb frequently.

If you have any questions about this event, please email me. I will wait by the front door for about 5 minutes or so, after that look for me around the gym.

Climb on!

Is there an appointed place/time for us all to join up?

Do you think that it is ok to come for a person with not much experience (I did this 2 or 3 times before long time ago), a bit of belly :) and no other people coming with me?

Of course it's okay! A few other people are beginners as well. When you come, the gym staff will take you through the training necessary to be allowed to climb. Then you can climb with all of us. You don't have to be in perfect shape to climb! Come join us!

Hi! My guess and I are novice at this, but would love to do this and more

Hi Guy - no experience needed - the gym staff will teach you and your friend all the basics and then you can meet up with the group after. Looking forward to it!
