Critique Meeting : 1500 words or less

This is a circle style critique meeting. Each author will receive approximately 15-20 minutes to have their work read and critiqued. Due to the ambient noise, it is a silent reading followed by a discussion.

Please bring printed copies of your work, one for each attendee. Printing 8 copies would cover most situations so that each person can have a copy to read. Double spaced is preferable as it allows notes to be written more easily. Subject matter is at the author's discretion.

You are welcome to join us whether you'd like to have your work read and critiqued or just read other's work and offer feedback or if you would like help from the group for planning/research purposes.

Please be courteous to your fellow members. Try to arrive on time. If you are not present at 11 o'clock you may not get to read.

If you have any questions regarding the meeting, No Show Policy or location and parking for the meeting, please contact the organizers.

Look forward to seeing you all there!

Welcome to the group, Judy. Regarding POV, I recommend Orson Scott Card's book "Characters & Viewpoint" which is a part of the series, "Elements of Fiction Writing"

I would really like to attend the sessions and unfortunately have had to change my RSVPs. Are later sessions available on Saturday or Sunday such as 1 or 2 pm meetings? Also, is it acceptable to bring only bring 3 copies of your draft? thx

Presently, the only meeting times are for those posted. Also, it is important to bring printed copies for everyone at the meetup.
