We conclude our February trip to Central America in El Salvador.
"What the clean, airy dining room lacks in sophistication is more than made up for by the delicious and inexpensive food, including El Salvador's national dish, pupusa (poo-POO-sah), a thick, fried cornmeal patty stuffed with cheese, fried pork or a mixture of the two with refried beans.
"Other high points on the menu include the pork and chicken tamales and meat turnovers called pasteles."
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
