About The Iowa Democratic Veterans Caucus:
 The Iowa Democratic Veterans' Caucus was established in 2007 and is the recognized voice for veterans and their families within the Iowa Democratic Party. The Iowa Democratic Veterans Caucus acts as the voice of Democrats in the Veterans' community by setting the IDP legislative and policy agenda for issues affecting Veterans, their families and their communities.

This group is open to members of the Iowa Democratic Party who are active duty personnel, members of the National Guard and Reserves, retired military and/or honorably discharged members of the Armed Forces of the United States of Americans.

The immediate goal of the Iowa Democratic Veterans Caucus is to establish a network of county veterans' caucuses with a veterans' liaison as a function of each County's Democratic Central Committee. These county veterans' groups will work through the Districts' and state leadership to elevate issues affecting veterans and their families within the Iowa Democratic Party. The Iowa Democratic Veterans' Caucus is supported in part through contributions to the Iowa Veterans Victory Fund or contributions to the Iowa Democratic Party. You may make a secure on-line contribution to the Victory Fund by clicking on the IVVF logo on the home page. You may also contribute to our efforts by sending a check to the treasurer of the IDP, PO Box 35053, Des Moines, IA 50321. Please designate your contribution for the Iowa Democratic Veterans Caucus.

Contributions to support the IDVC through the IVVF or the IDP are not tax-deductable for federal or state taxes.
