Come enjoy a holiday brunch at the Full Shilling, a lovely Irish spot in downtown Manhattan (suggestion of member Joanne - thank you).  Not only can we have some fun connecting again but we can also support a local business that was impacted by Sandy.

On offer: an Irish Breakfast for $14.50 that includes the standard fare such as eggs, bacon, sausage, white and black pudding, beans, tomato, toast - and a mimosa! (You may also order a la carte if you wish).

Hope to see you there - and - an extra bonus: I will have some extra copies of genealogy magazines Internet Genealogy and Family Chronicle that were generously donated by the publisher to hand round!

Do you ever have meetings in either mid-town Manhattan or The Bronx neighborhood of Riverdale? Lower Manhattan is a hike on the weekends via subway.

Hi Peggy, most of the meetups are in midtown or close to based on joining other events. The reason for the downtown selection tomorrow was to support a business impacted by Sandy.

Closest subway is the 2 or 3 to Wall Street. Exit on Wall, walk east on Wall 2 blocks (heading toward the East River, not toward Trinity Church) to Pearl St, make a left. The Full Shilling is between Wall and Pine Streets; it usually has the Irish flag flying over the door so you should be able see it very easily. Look forward to seeing you all there!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
