I have been following an Ayurvedic vegetarian diet for thirty odd years, and have attended three local raw food events in the past five years. Much of my food is home-grown, and most of what I do buy is organic. I have made a variety of smoothies, and also a raw food pizza and cake.
It obviously retains maximum nutrition, and allows scope for the consumption of more alkaline foods.
