Meetup and connect with others in the Ithaca area who are fed up with runaway government spending and loss of Constitutional Rights. Also, Congressman Ron Paul's Bill, HR 1207 to AUDIT the Federal Reserve, is gaining momentum! 88 co-sponsors so far! GREAT, but we need MORE! Call/write/fax /email yer REP ( relentlessly!) to SUPPORT this key legislation! Esp on Mon...nationwide calling campaign then. See campaignforliberty.com for more info.. there's even a petition there to print out & get signatures, & deliver mid next week to your Congressman. It would be EXCELLENT if U could get 100's of signatures tomorrow at the Tea Party

Good LUCK with this event tomorrow! I'll be rooting for you! I told my friend Ron about it. He's interested in these Issues, & I've mailed him several DVD's - America: From Freedom To Fascism" etc....HIGHLY recommended if by chance you haven't seen it. Can probably watch it online by googling it. Or u can order it at infowars.com GREAT site to go to often anyway for TRUTH in the News! Anyway, my friend doesn't have email/internet so he's behind on alot of great info. But I hope he shows up!

We just decided to hold this Tea Party about 2 weeks ago. so everything is a bit behind the ideal curve! I did contact all area media outlets -- print, radio, TV -- only some of which are likely to run anything about the event. Thurs morning I'll be on Dave Vieser's show on WHCU 870. So the key is just what you are doing -- spreading the word to everyone you know. See you Saturday! Bring a sign!

This event doesn't seem to be very well publicized, (from what I'm finding anyway) I've been trying to spread the word. I think it's VERY important in a liberal town such as Ithaca to get the word out about this event.

Janis gave an outstanding speech that covered specific points, which my husband and I agreed with 100%. In fact, the crowd agreed and clapped several times in agreement. Her talk was well organized, factual, lively and reassuring. She concluded by reminding us to be hopeful and proactive. As a side note, her demeanor was pleasant and upbeat.
    •  Thanks for organizing this Janis, I had a great time. Let me when the next events happening.

It was great to see that there are conservatives in Ithaca! I sometime wonder if I'm alone in this liberal town!
