I have 3 collies and have done collie rescue for several years. But I recently expanded to include sheltie rescue and have my first foster here now. I would love to meet more sheltie (and collie) people and bring my new foster sheltie Lucy to the n

What activities have you done with your Sheltie

Right now I am just fostering my first sheltie, Lucy.

Do you have a interesting story you can tell us at the meetup?

Lucy was labeled a fear biter and scheduled for euthanasia at a local shelter. When I went to evaluate her I saw a dog terrified of the shelter and staff. She has turned into a love-bug at my house.

Tell us the name and age of your Sheltie.

Lucy is my foster sheltie and I think she is about 4-5.

Faith - thank you for the information from the article in Dog Fancy. I am willing to try anything. I also was able to talk to Colleen last night. She seems like a great lady. I am starting to her PuppyK class on Monday 9/29. I will let you know of our progress. Hope Bambi is doing great - what a sweetheart!

Larry and I enjoyed chatting with you on Saturday and learning more about shelties and collies. I am calling Colleen today to get Morgan enrolled in the Saturday classes. We both also wanted to say thank you for rescuing little Bambi. What a great little dog and what a personality. After we left the meet up on Saturday he was all we could think about. Plese keep us posted on his progress. He is a blessing!
