In this day and age where ict's play a major part of our day to day lifes, people need to learn to harness the power they hold and make them work for the greater good of their communities, to alleviate the problems that plague Africa and other poor parts of thr world. It would be a shame if this ablitiy to commicate and network wasn't used to make lives better.

Both questions of internet penetration and State censorship versus freedom of media have been worldwide the focal point of many discussions in past years. Now with new media and its networking-sharing force, the focus is shifting from - How many can access information- to - How many can be reached-. With mobile and web based applications, the mainstream media -MEDIUM- role is outshined as the audience, communities in rural and urban areas can produce or reach information from its source. Thanks to platforms like Netsquared which facilitates the networking.
