Introduction to Frege

Introduction of Frege, a strongly typed, pure, non-strict functional JVM language in the spirit of Haskell.

The main focus will be on differences with Haskell and other JVM languages, Java interoperability, demonstration of online REPL and eclipse IDE.

If time allows, we can also discuss certain technical issues like "tail calls on the JVM" or what else is most interesting to attendees.

Ingo Wechsung, who gives the talk, works as IT consultant for contexo GmbH, located in Reutlingen.

Some questions rgd. the technical equipment at your site:

    1. I assume there is a projector?
    2. Will I have internet access (doesn't have to be from the laptop I bring)?

@Simon Yes, this is what I offer. However, I am not sure if too many of you who would be interested in this cannot attend, because of vacations. If this turns out, I'd suggest we postpone to a later date.

Ingo, could you give a description of the talk, and maybe a few lines about who you are and what you do?

Feel free to edit any of the meetup page. I think all members have permission to do that.

@Ingo Do you want to talk about that topic at the next meetup?
