Get up and go! FREE 60-90 minute nature walks  

GET ACTIVE and reconnect with your natural environment in the company of like-minded people, enjoying the benefits of exercise and educating yourself on the many plant, animal and bird species that frequent the greater Kalamazoo area hiking and walking trailways. You may find yourself revisiting these beautiful spaces again and again with a friend or when taking your dog for a walk. These 60-90 minute walks are FREE for you to enjoy. They are led by two people eager to share their knowledge and passion for the outdoors with you.

NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

 

WEAR SHOES OR BOOTS IN CASE WATER IS HIGH ON THE BOARDWALK.

 

 

West Lake Preserve

Directions: S. Westnedge Ave. – 1.2 miles south of Centre St. – turn left on South Shore Dr. and go about ¼ mile to the park entrance on the left. Some of this walk will be on floating boardwalk so wear shoes or boots that you can get wet in case the water level is high.
