You're invited to our free 60-90 minute walks designed to get you outside and moving, staying healthy and strong in the beautiful landscape that winter provides. Our walks are designed to be educational and fun, led by two people eager to share their knowledge of the surrounding environments, wildlife and the joy of the natural world with you. Breathe and reconnect with your natural environment in the good company of like-minded people.
Following the walks, those interested will gather to warm up and grab a tasty bite to eat at one of our local restaurants (see directions). Stretching with our partners from Awake & Aware Yoga and Bodywork may precede some of our walks.
These FREE walks take place rain, snow or sunshine unless severe weather is predicted. Bring water and binoculars if desired.

About the Guides
David Nesius is an active member of many nature organizations, including the Asylum Lake Preservation Association, Audubon Society of Kalamazoo, Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy, Michigan Botanical Club, Wild Ones and Kalamazoo Valley Walkers.
Wil Reding is an instructor at WMU and KVCC in the area of Environmental Sciences. During his free time he runs a company called “Rent A Rambling Naturalist” throughout the Mid-west. Wil models his life after his mentor John Muir who said “I care to live only to entice people to look at Nature’s loveliness.”
