The Saturday Ladies only Bike Ride: ART Clinic and Bike ride

I have a treat for you..

Good Morning Ladies

Are suffering from repetitive soft tissue injuries such as: tight psoas, hamstring, IT Band, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, etc., If so This Saturday Ladies only bike ride will start with a ART/Cycling Clinic that will address these issues. The Clinic is provided by Heather Beninato, Licensed Massage Therapist, IronMan Provider, and Dr. Al Lundeen D.C.

We will meet in the parking lot of InMotion Health & Wellness, 4425 East Agave Rd, Bldg 9 # 150, Phoenix Az 85044. At 5:10 am Please be there on time. Heather will start her clinic at 5:15 am and we will have wheels down by 5:35am. Yes this is a tight schedule, Heather will be available after the ride to answer further questions.

YES, We are still trying to stay ahead of the Az heat in many ways..

To protect your skin, use a good sunscreen.

To assist your body, drink plenty of water through out the entire week.

To maintain a good energy level eat a good balance of fruit, vegetables and protein.

To protect your bones, Try and get at least 10 to 15 min in the sun with out sunscreen each day.

Why you ask.. Did you know that over 45% of Americans are low in Vitamin D. This is a vitamin that is created, and freely given to us by the sun. Yes, but I live in AZ! Yes, but every time we go out, we put on a hi level of sunscreen. I'm not saying to sunbath.. just take out the trash, enjoy the first cup of coffee on the pouch, water the plants in the morning. Just have a little you and the sun time..Your BONES will Thank you.

Hey Everyone, This Sunday is "Silent Sunday" on S. Mtn. We will ride from The Nosh (S.E. corner of 48Th St. & Warner) starting at 5:30 a.m. Please be there early enough to roll out on time. It will be another warm day so bring plenty of water or a camelback to keep hydrated with. There are a few stores along the way but, only a water fountain at the bottom of the mountain once we get into the park area & it is usually warm water. Anyone wanting to ride on the mountain but not, to & from The Nosh can start from the parking lot at the mountain park entrance on Central Ave 1 mile S. of Dobbins Rd. See you all Sunday, Charlie

    Thanks to all the Ladies that came out and share their morning. Heather gave some good info on stretch and cycling and I hope you all take advantage of the info given. This was one of the Largest groups that the Ladies have had thus far and it was a great ride. Awhatukee holds a challenge for all riders..

    Hello Ladies.
    The Saturday Ladies only bike ride is normally 4 hr.. In that time depending on how many stops or how long we stop the distance varies. This is one reason that we don't give distance. The other reason is I truly don't know. As one of the leaders we go back and forth so our miles are always more or less.
    But no matter the distance the ride will challenge each rider.
