Moravian Tile Works, then dinner Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar 19 North Main Street D

The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, a National Historic Landmark, is maintained as a "working history" museum by Pennsylvania's County of Bucks, Department of Parks and Recreation. Handmade tiles are still produced in a manner similar to that developed by the pottery's founder and builder, Henry Chapman Mercer [masked]). Mercer was a major proponent of the Arts & Crafts Movement in America. He directed the work at the pottery from 1898 until his death in 1930. You may still purchase handmade reissues of tiles and mosaics made in the American Arts & Crafts tradition from us. Come visit and tour our historic museum. Check our catalogue to see the many tiles we have for gifts and installations such as kitchens, fireplaces, floors and walls.Tours are offered every half-hour and consist of a brief video followed by a self-guided walk through the facility. Visitors will see original installations, various displays, and selected aspects of current tile production. Admission fees and operating hours are subject to change. Please call[masked] to verify. Grace, That would be like a movie reviewer lowering her rating for a movie because she missed the first 30 minutes of a film. I'm glad you made it by the tail end, and glad you made the dinner. I'll have to makes it to NYC for next years Chinese New Year celebration. BTW, happy new year (of the snake).

Maurice, I'm guilty as charged; however, in my own defense, I really did not want to rate the event since I didn't attend 100%; however, the meetup application does not allow one to leave without providing a rating.

I gave it a four star only because I missed the Moravian tour, it was my own fault. I truly enjoyed a pleasant dinner with new friends and stimulating conversations.

Larry, you can't find a restaurant to accommodate us? Sounds like you're a victim of your success. I'm sure the new place you have found is fine.

Dinner suggestion would be Chambers or Penn Tap Room in Doylestown.

I'm good with any place. I was thinking a BYOB would be more affordable and since more than half the people who responded are from the other side of the river, it would be more convenient for them. I live in Buckingham.
