PolyKink Las Vegas: Many Loves Discussion Group

Get ready to participate in an interactive discussion group for people who have or are interested in consensual non-monogamy! This group will explore topics common to people in polyamorous relationships, provide information and resources, and highlight the diversity within our community.

This month's topic will be OPEN FORUM. Much of the first half of the discussion will be a POLY 101 since there will be some advocates joining the first half of the discussion this month who are training to help people who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or hate crimes. They are from the Queer Anti-Violence Project, which is a group that specifically caters to people who are doing sex, gender, and relationships differently, and that includes poly people, so they're coming to brush up. Come and share your poly with them!

We will be discussing whatever gets thrown into the circle so bring your topics to bounce off of others in the community, and get feedback on things you've been thinking about.

Toward the end of the discussion, please let us know which topics you would like to see come up in the future!

Thank you so much to those that made it to the discussion and participated in the education of advocates of the Queer Anti-Violence Project! I enjoyed it immensely! It is very awesome that you all took time to listen and/or share your poly to illustrate the range of relationship types, common misconceptions, fears of coming forward as an abuse survivor when you're a person that does sex, gender and relationships differently, and so much more. Your participation and feedback are invaluable to the QAVP. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Just as a heads up, there will be some advocates joining the first half of the discussion this month who are training to help people who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or hate crimes. They are from the Queer Anti-Violence Project, which is a group that specifically caters to people who are doing sex, gender, and relationships differently, and that includes poly people, so they're coming to brush up. If anyone has any problem with them coming to listen in, please let me know!
