Among the great gifts of my spiritual path have been the freedom to follow my true beliefs to their Pagan heart, and the opportunity to get to know this wonderfully diverse spiritual community. I look forward to what awaits us in the year ahead.
The members of this group are friends and family to me. I urge any who have not yet come to a meeting, to try it. If you haven't been in a while, I urge you to try it again. I'm sure you will find it as rewarding as I have.
Thanx, Micheal. It was taken @ an old granite mining strip in SWLR.
More olive oil lamp ideas. Veg and lard oils burn hotter than kerosene, so you can't just pour veg oil into a kerosene lamp and be safe. No solids to burn in 3rd pressing olive oil. Best design -> Make floating wick coconut (or any veg oil) lamp with everyday items - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR7gC4.... Ritual lamp ideas - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nfMLg.... Use sand, oil, toothpick, cotton ball; burns 3-4 hours - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=....
Are you on Facebook? I'm Fern Devali, there, if you want to look me up. I also found this spiffy DIY olive oil lamp - http://www.motherearthnews.com/Do-It-.... Olive oil is safer than wax, even, because if won't burn if it spills; the flame just goes out, unless it soaks into something. At the meetup, I was wondering what you had in mind when you were thinking of me doing a card reading at the "intermission" of the ceremony.... Anything specific? General ideas?
I wont be attending the 4th, but I'll do my best to make the 22nd. (Car trouble.) I hope to get to know everyone soon. n.n Stay safe.
Michael I'm very excited about this group and look forwarding to learning a lot from the people I meet. See you soon!
