The Local Nose wine tasting group will hold a monthly wine tasting event with a selection of quality, value-for-money wines that have been recommended on The Local Nose website by a panel of local wine experts, a.k.a. The Noses. http://www.thelocalnose.com/

How are the wines chosen for recommendation?

Each month the Noses blind taste +/- 45 wines submitted by Singapore wine merchants. If three of the Noses independently recommend a wine on a quality, then value-for-money basis, The Local Nose posts the recommendation on the website. Only wines that receive 3 (or more) independent recommendations make it to The Local Nose front page.

Each month the TLN Wine Tasting Group will have a chance to taste the 24-30 wines that are recommended each month at restaurant venues around Singapore.

We will also host tutored tastings for those wishing to learn a bit more detail about particular wines, as well as food & wine pairing sessions.

Interested members of The Local Nose Wine Tasting Group can also make comments on the wines tasted in June (on the TLN website) and by doing so, earn a chance to be a "guest" nose and taste wines blind with the professional Noses. It's a fantastic way to learn about wine and train your palate with the pros!
