Developers: 2nd #LEGup Playtesting event with Playtest UK

  • Oct 2, 2013 · 6:30 PM

Please note that we will be starting promptly at 7pm, so please come after 6.30pm in order to set up and get ready.

This is the DEVELOPERS meetup for the 2nd #LEGup Playtesting event in association with Playtest UK.

Please RSVP for one of the 5 developer places here. (A £15 sign-up fee payable via Paypal is also required.)

We will try to give each developer 2 x 30 mins playtesting rounds to show their project to a group of playtesters to get feedback and comments on how their game can be further advanced. The event will last approximately 1 hour 30 mins with small intervals and refreshments. There will also be time for you to continue the discussion into the social parts of the evening.

Please bring a version of your project that can be reviewed by the playtesters. You will need to provide any device that your game requires. There is Wi-Fi at the venue, however it can be unreliable. If your project relies purely on Wi-Fi, it may be worth re-thinking your participation at this time.

Developers are encouraged to use the event creatively and according to their needs. You can choose to watch and take notes while others play, ask questions or participate in the playtesting yourself. If you need advice on how to approach the testing, please email Rob Harris ([masked]).

Hi Developers. Thanks for your patience during the event, and apologies for the lack of playtesters. I have now refunded all your fees for the event. Please let me know if you have any questions. Kirsten

I took a lot out of the event; as pointed out by Rob, the turn out for playtesters should be improved

We will be bringing two iPads along, so please do send over a promo code or two to [masked] and I can help.
