Are you making educational games and apps, thinking about making them or just interested in the application of new technology to education? The aim of this group is to link people involved in or interested in getting involved in making educational games and apps. Often people in this field have a particular skill (e.g. teaching, coding, subject-matter expertise, design) but need to find others with complimentary skills. This meetup group would help people get together and share knowledge and ideas. Who should join? Games designers, teachers, developers, graphic designers, education professionals, publishers, investors, students. You don't need to be actively making games to join this group; an interest in getting involved is enough. Why I decided to start the group: I've been involved in designing educational games for a few years now (from very high-budget titles to tiny zero-budget experiments). I'm fascinated by the subject and looking for like-minded people to talk to and potentially work with on new projects.
