What's your involvement with educational games or software?

I've worked in games for about thirteen years, and have always had an interest in things with a stealthily educational bent. Not shoutily educational, but things that do good stuff as a by-product of their primary function. I've worked with Pearson, Wild Knowledge, Denki and more on products that have a semi-educational aspect. My upcoming game, currently called 'Project Woodlouse', has stealthily education aspects. And my design for a Dung Beetle game is a thing of beauty.

What do you hope to get from this meetup group?

Twofold: personal / professional growth, and networking.

Do you have a product, website or blog you'd like to share?

I run consultancy over at inudgemetrics.com. I use my background in games and psychology – and my experience in game / hobby design, freemium, social, and more – to help games, service or products get their metrics moving in the right direction.

Introduction

I'm a commercially-driven, forward-looking and people-centred digital craftsman. I create and deliver ahead-of-the-curve games, products and services.
