This is a 5 mile guided walk (not a tour with commentary) from Aldgate tube station covering the murder route of Jack the Ripper and Spitalfields and Whitechapel.
Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Jane Kelly all met their gory ends on the dark and dangerous streets of Whitechapel. You'll have to use your imagination a bit and to visualise Victorian London and not see the chrome and glass structures that are there today. ;-)
We end at Algate East tube station.
Meet outside Aldgate tube at 1pm. We start promptly, so do plan your journey! Please click here for the Transport for London Journey planner http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en
PS: The walk will be cancelled if the weather suddenly turns bad or there are less than 10 people signed up.
