IJV have secured a diverse panel of Israeli, Palestinian and British speakers who will discuss possible ways forward including the distinguished Palestinian activist, politician and doctor, Mustafa Barghouthi. As founder of Medical Relief and co-founder and General Secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative he has been a consistent advocate of a non-violent and democratic alternative.
Mustafa Barghouthi will deliver the keynote address “On the twentieth anniversary of Oslo - Palestine what future?” which will be preceded by a panel discussion on forms of intervention with Miri Weingarten, former director of International Advocacy for Physicians for Human Rights and currently representative of human rights groups in Europe,
Selma Dabbagh, Palestinian-British novelist and activist, author of the acclaimed novel, Out of It,
Jayyab Abusafia, Palestinian student and journalist from Gaza resident in the UK,
Charlotte Seymour, Oxford student who initiated the Gaza scholarship programme at Oxford University
