Join The Mosaic Rooms for a talk with the author of the recent critically acclaimed novel, The Wall.

The British Palestinian writer Selma Dabbagh will join the author William Sutcliffe in conversation. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.

A political fable that powerfully evokes the realities of life on the West Bank, it tells the story of a Settler child who finds there are two sides to every story. The novel is about the devastating effect of occupation and segregation on ordinary lives.

William Sutcliffe is the author of: the international bestseller Are You Experienced?; The Love Hexagon; New BoyBad Influence and, most recently, Whatever Makes You Happy. He lives in Edinburgh.

Selma Dabbagh is a British Palestinian writer of fiction based in London. Her first novel, ‘Out of It,’set between Gaza, London and the Gulf has been listed as a Guardian Book of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
