Growing up under occupation in Hebron

Guest Speaker:

Shahd Awawdeh, a young law graduate from Dora, Hebron, is currently volunteering for 5 months with Camden Abu Dis Friendship Association (CADFA).

She will give a short illustrated talk about Dora and Hebron and about growing up under the Occupation; about twinning with Palestine and her hope of finding an active ‘twin’ for Dora.

She will explain the CADFA EVS (European Voluntary Service) volunteering programme and what it offers both in the UK and in Palestine.

Pottery from Hebron and Palestinian refreshments on sale and there will be a collection for the CADFA volunteering programme.

VENUE: Approx. 6 mins walk from South Wimbledon tube station on the Northern Line and 10 mins. from  Wimbledon Rail Station. Buses 57,93,131 and 219 stop outside.
