Gary White a friend of mine who runs the Fulham and Chelsea Wine Society has a few places left for a fabulous mature Bordeaux tasting tomorrow Thursday at 6.30pm which I will be going to. The tasting will be presented by Chris Smith who is a wine investment specialist and will feature several wines from the commune of St. Julien some of which would cost 3 figures (i.e. £100+) at today's retail cost. The line-up of wines will include:
Ch. du Glana 2005 St. Julien
Ch. Lagrange 2000 St. Julien
Ch. Branaire Ducru 2000 St. Julien
Ch. Beychevelle 1989 St. Julien
Ch. Beychevelle 1990 St. Julien
Ch. Moulin Riche 1991 St. Julien
Ch. Leoville Las Cases 1985 St. Julien
The tasting will kick-off at 6.30 and for those who wish to stay on there will be an optional dinner at around 8.30.
The nearest tube is Parsons Green which is a 10 minute walk.
