Reyneke was founded in 1998 when Johan Reyneke Jr. took over his family farm and began producing his own wine. With vines as old as 40 years, Reyneke is a trailblazer in the realm of biodynamic viticulture in South Africa. His aim has always been to express the uniqueness of the farm's situation in the bottle by interfering as little as possible and allowing nature to be the real maker of the wine. Johan’s wines have received universally outstanding reviews from Robert Parker, Jancis Robinson, Wine Spectator and John Platter. For more about the estate see: http://www.reynekewines.co.za/
Johan will lead us in a tasting of 5 of his wines and these will be accompanied by a 5 course dinner prepared by Vivat Bacchus' Executive Chef. Dietary requirements will be catered for so please let me know if you have any when you book the event.
The cost of this event is £58 (£49.50 + the 12.5% service charge of £6.20 + £2.30 paypal fees) to include all food and wine and I have reserved 10 places for the group.
